Office 2016 introduces a number of new features across the various apps included in the suite.

Among them is the ability for more than one person to work on the same Word document at the same time using the desktop application.

Concurrent editing has been available on Microsoft OneNote and within the online versions of the applications, with Microsoft bringing this functionality to its core Office applications.
